Her theatre making process is informed by social class, play, queer contemporary culture + humour.
She's performed under the alias spoken-word poet Johnny the Biblical Rapper since 2016.

In April Parr finished her first play, The Anarchy of Touch, inspired by her experiences working as a Band 2 nurse in the NHS.
