Charlotte is a theatre director from the East Midlands.
As director, credits include: Autumn, based on the novel by Ali Smith (Park Theatre, North Wall Arts Centre); Andromeda (Camden People’s Theatre, Derby Theatre, Nottingham Playhouse); Hurricane Blues (Southwark Playhouse); Start of the Rainbow (Theatre503); Edward II (Oxford Playhouse).
As assistant/associate director: Cymbeline (Shakespeare’s Globe), Sap (Roundabout/Soho Theatre/UK Tour), twenty-eight (Theatre503), & Yellowfin (Southwark Playhouse).
Recently, she has been a New Associate with New Perspectives Theatre Company. She was the recipient of an Arts Council England Developing Your Creative Practise grant in 2021. She was a resident director on Dr Hailey Bachrach’s Shakespeare and Consent project from 2021-24. Charlotte's completing her MA in Gender and Sexuality at Birkbeck University, researching ecofeminism and climate dramaturgy.
