Maria Telnikoff (she/they) is a queer actor, writer and comic performer, based in between the East Midlands and East London. She is the creator of five-star one-person show “My Dad Wears A Dress” about her experience of growing up with a trans female parent (Camden People’s Theatre, Underbelly, Nottingham Playhouse, Greenwich Theatre and the Vagina Museum). Their second solo show “All The Men Are Going To Hate Me” (about their attempt to write The Great Novel of the 21st Century) was chosen by Rash Dash to be a part of CPT’s Calm Down Dear 2023 and recently had a sold out run at Riverside Studios. Maria has also worked on White Noise Theatre’s “Plant Gays” as a co-devisor (Omnibus Theatre, Greenhouse Theatre, Exeter Phoenix). Recently, a rehearsed reading of their play “Eggs Aren’t That Easy To Make” had a sold out run at “A Pinch of Vault” Festival. Maria is also the co-host of Soft Play Area (a queer, alt comedy night in East London dedicated to silliness and childish fun) and is a graduate of SOHO Theatre Comedy Labs Plus and Edinburgh Labs.

Lauren is a highly experienced director and facilitator. She recently directed “Borrowed” at The Unity Theatre in Liverpool. Other credits include directing “Close Enough To Touch” (Theatre 503), “Eggs Aren’t That Easy To Make” (A Pinch of Vault Festival), “Persephone” (Edinburgh Fringe).
