Covered in Jam (Sammy Trotman, Jake Rix and Scott Ward) are a mentally sick, untrained and self-made collective obsessed with cynicism as much as they are obsessed with play. For us, play is creativity in its purest form and an essential characteristic of our work. Cynicism, meanwhile – mockery – the ability to hold a mirror up to the uglier side of things tessellates perfectly with this childish act of playful creation.
