Snap the Arrow is a production company founded by Chris Cook and Rhys Williamson. Chris and Rhys have collaborated since 2014, creating work that blends theatre, comedy, storytelling and magic. Their first show under the Snap the Arrow banner, FAKE, premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2025 and received critical acclaim for its inventive storytelling and emotional depth.
Snap the Arrow exists to support new work by Chris and Rhys and provides a platform for existing and emerging artists to develop new ideas. The company creates shows that are imaginative, accessible and deeply human.
The company’s second show, A Very Difficult Person, marks Rhys’ debut as a solo performer and storyteller, drawing on over a decade of writing, directing, producing and dramaturgy across theatre, film and magic, alongside regular storytelling appearances at Bristol’s Storyslam and other live events.
