I’m a filmmaker, visual artist and performer. My innovative live drawing shows encompass all three. My first drawing show explored my lesbian identity prompted by my Jewish grandmother’s revelation of her own lesbian experiences in the 1920s. It played at the Soho Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe.

My recent feature film, The Book of Gabrielle, investigates the depiction of sex in a patriarchal society. This premiered at the Barbican Cinema, London followed by a UK tour. It was a cross platform production and was accompanied by a live drawing show and a book, called, How To Do It, which was funded by The Arts Council.

My micro budget feature film, Do I Love You? made in 2003 was about the label of lesbian and what it meant to me. Tick Tock Lullaby my second micro budget feature in 2007 was about the ambivalence of whether to have a child or not.

Presently I am working on a new micro budget feature film about addiction, set in Camden. This will also be a cross platform production and will tie in with Drawing on a bottle, live drawing show. A book will also be available - A Short Guide to Ethanol.

I sell my art and I run drawing workshops for unfurling the soul and finding connection.

"Our children live in the most deprived ward in London and their parents cannot afford to pay for the classes and activities many more privileged children enjoy after school and at the weekends. A free-to-access youth group run by a local theatre in a professional setting is an incredible opportunity."
