I have been a playwright since attending workshops run by Bernard Kopf at the City Lit in 1991. The play I produced was then performed in Holloway by Hackney Theatre Company. Since then I have written several plays produced by the London Shakespeare Workout and performed throughout the UK, the United States and Canada. I have also produced work with CleanBreak, Synergy Theatre Project and Cardboard Citizens. I have had short plays read at Theatre 503, the Kiln Theatre and Soho Theatre. I have also read my work as part of an ensemble project at Omnibus Theatre. I set up Artopia to bring together a group of artists with different lived experience to perform challenging and exciting new work.
