    Rupert Bevan (Writer/Performer): Since graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne/Naarm (BFA Acting), Rupert has continued to hone his craft in theatre, most recently appearing in the acclaimed premiere Australian production of "The Inheritance" at fortyfivedownstairs (Dir: Kitan Petkovski), "Away" at Theatre Works and "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" for Sport For Jove. His one-man show, 'Darling Boy’ (dir: Lucy Rossen), which he also wrote and produced, has enjoyed sold-out seasons in Dublin, Melbourne and Sydney, and in 2023 the show made its UK premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it received great acclaim. Rupert has spent the summer undertaking training at Arthaus Berlin to hone his theatre making craft and he will next be seen on screens in "The Narrow Road to the Deep North" (Curio Pictures, Sony Pictures Television) for Amazon Prime.

    Tobi King Bakare and this theatre deserve a shout-out for such a young, diverse audience. There is so much talk about audiences being full of over 60s and why, why can’t theatres get the crowds in to reflect society in general? Well, I’m happy to say that on a rainy Thursday evening, the theatre was completely full.
