Nathaniel (he/they) is a comedy writer and performer from Manchester, based in London. Their current work centres on history and religion, particularly interested in the intentional construction of culture based on (mis)interpretations of historical texts. Most recent projects: Philos & Amica Do Time (Riverside Studios) a comedy two-hander about a timeless friendship; Sing, River (Oxford Playhouse, Pleasance Courtyard @ Edinburgh Festival Fringe), a solo folk musical paralleling shrouded prehistoric British and personal history. They are currently a member of the London Library’s Emerging Writers Programme.
