Nat and Dani is the creative collaboration between Natalie Bellingham (Yorkshire, UK) and Daniele Pennati (Milan, Italy). A chance encounter in 2016 was the start of their friendship and led to them forming an exciting new collective, which led to the development of The Polar Bear (is Dead).
Natalie is a Theatre Maker, Performer and Physical Comedian based in Yorkshire. She was a 2021 Funny Women Finalist and co-founder of Uncanny Theatre with whom she toured original work for a decade throughout the UK. She is currently working with Jamie Wood creating a new solo show ‘Look After Your Knees’.
Daniele is an associate artist with multi-award winning Florence based company Sotteraneo. He trained in Italy as an actor, theatre designer and circus performer. He regularly performs as ‘Muffin’ in ‘Drag Queen Story Time’ making work for young people about gender identity and expression.
