Lobster Frock are a London based feminist theatre company. We specialise in improvisation and play. Our genre-defying shows are always devised, new pieces that celebrate women. We are obsessed with telling stories about unsung heroines through bold sound design and visual aesthetic. We love to play with form; having made digital and immersive, as well as straight plays. Our female characters are the heart of our worlds, giving voice and presence to diverse women who need to be known and understood.
Our projects have been supported by funding from Arts Council England. We have had residencies with Theatre Deli, The Kilden Theatre (Norway) and ARC Stockton. We were also resident artists at Stanley Arts in Croydon. Plus, most recently we were in partnership with MOCA London, Meet Me at The Albany and Age UK to create our latest ACE project, The Blueprints Museum. We are now working on Canine.
