Kelly Vee is a woman of multiple threats including Pole Dance, Movement, Acting and Costume.

She began her performing career in the cabaret clubs of Melbourne before moving to London in 2016.

The majority of her current work is in Pole Dance. An art form which in its original home of strip clubs monetises the male gaze with women as the centrepiece. She uses pole performance to make the social injustices of being a woman eye-catching, entertaining and ultimately ignite change.

    Performing highlights include:
Theodora (Pole Dancer/Actor) Royal Opera House, Directed by Katie Mitchell. ***Olivier Nominated “Best New Opera”***

We Live in a Human Dream (pole dancer) Machynlleth Comedy Festival, Created by Siân Docksey.
Too Drunk to Fuck (Burlesque) various London cabaret venues. Performed with Steph Oh!
Afterglow (Pole Performer) Mazzoleni Art Gallery / Battersea Power Station, Directed by Marinella Senatore

Tobi King Bakare and this theatre deserve a shout-out for such a young, diverse audience. There is so much talk about audiences being full of over 60s and why, why can’t theatres get the crowds in to reflect society in general? Well, I’m happy to say that on a rainy Thursday evening, the theatre was completely full.
