As If makes theatre with and about friendship. Led by theatre-makers Martha Harlan and Laura Henderson Child, we think that performance can be experimental and still inclusive. We’ve made shows about reality TV, seventeenth-century heists and primary school field trips, and we’ve worked with live foley soundtracks, original music, cooking and cameras. Our work is energetic, ambitious, and made without hierarchy.
