  • Alice Christina-Corrigan

    Alice Christina-Corrigan is a visually impaired actor, theatre maker and creative captioner based in Manchester. Her practice is focused on creatively and intuitively breaking the technological landscape of creative access in theatre by implementing new and exciting ways to approach creative access, primarily for Blind and Deaf communities. Her work incorporates dynamic sound scores, audio description language and creative captioning. Past Life originally debuted at Camden People’s Theatre last spring as part of Calm Down Dear 2022 and has been performed at the Barbican Centre, Bloomsbury Festival and DaDa International.

    Past Life has, and continues to be supported by Arts Council England, Octagon Theatre, Graeae Theatre, Extant Theatre Company, Carmon Collective, Camden People’s Theatre and CRIPtic.

    Alice was the associate artist at Extant Theatre Company 2022 and is currently developing her second play, Fade with The Lowry as their Developed With Artist 202-24.
