  • Adèle Le Gallez

    Adèle Le Gallez is a writer, performer and visual artist based in Manchester. Their work explores themes and ideas like capitalism, religion and dreams. Their solo work has taken the form of installations, soundscapes, poetry & story-telling.

    Before making solo work, Adèle co-founded MOUTH, a Bristol based dance-theatre duo. They created and toured Mouth (2017) the first self-titled piece, before being commissioned by Arts Council England, in support with Creative Youth Network (Bristol), to create Skin (2018) and a further third show Teeth (2019). With mentorship from CYN and becoming Ferment Artists through Bristol Old Vic’s Artist Development Programme, MOUTH toured shows through multiple venues in Bristol during their years as a company.

    Tobi King Bakare and this theatre deserve a shout-out for such a young, diverse audience. There is so much talk about audiences being full of over 60s and why, why can’t theatres get the crowds in to reflect society in general? Well, I’m happy to say that on a rainy Thursday evening, the theatre was completely full.
