All The Men Are Going To Hate Me is a one-woman show about one woman's attempt to write The Great Female Novel. For millennia, men have written stories of their sexual encounters with women and called it "great literature" but when women do it they're accused of being hyper sexual or only "writing about what they know". This hour of theatre asks how women can create in the shadow of the male cannon and explores the line between experience and fiction.

How does one write using male forms, male traditions, male language? Can one break the master's home using the master's tools? And, when communications fails, does one simply have to resort to interpretive dance?

Part stand-up, part poetry, part theatre, part dance party, All The Men Are Going To Hate Me is a riotous critique of Western culture and women's place in it.

“British theatre would be completely stymied without tiny, under-resourced venues such as CPT, which are a critical part of the theatre ecology.”
