    Zhaolin Zhou is a theatre-maker, puppeteer from China, trained at MFA Advanced Theatre Practice at the RCSSD. Zhaolin’s practice draws from a slow yet constant response to situations imminent from everyday life, exploring homesickness, adult autism, identity as a migrant artist living in the UK through autobiographical work and puppetry.

    When you can’t travel home, will your home come to you?

    Zhaolin Zhou shares his journey working with Walking Cats over the last two years, an autobiographical performance exploring homesickness and migrant identity. Coming to CPT Tue 1 and Wed 2 Nov at 7.15pm.


    Tobi King Bakare and this theatre deserve a shout-out for such a young, diverse audience. There is so much talk about audiences being full of over 60s and why, why can’t theatres get the crowds in to reflect society in general? Well, I’m happy to say that on a rainy Thursday evening, the theatre was completely full.
