Theo is a theatre-maker who writes, performs, produces, and directs.

He was born and raised in Singapore, where he recently made his professional debut as Martin in 'Kimberly Akimbo' (Pangdemonium), and performed with other leading theatre companies like Wild Rice, TheatreWorks, and Teater Ekamatra. He has had his one-on-one performances developed at Singapore's oldest arts centre, The Substation, and commissioned by Singapore's oldest bilingual theatre company, The Theatre Practice. Other recent performances include 'Martha' in Spring Awakening; 'Mr. / Lee' in Sunday in the Park with George'; 'Woman' in Cleansed; and 'Mr. Burns' in Mr. Burns: a Post-Electric Play.

At university, from which he recently graduated, he was proud to direct an acclaimed and sold-out production of Fairview by Jackie Sibblies Drury, marking the play's second production in the United Kingdom.

Over the last five years he has spearheaded multiple initiatives - Playwrights Commune, an independent platform to develop the work of more than 100 emerging playwrights; A Mirage, Singapore's first pub theatre; and the Critics Circle Blog, a platform for emerging performance critics. As a playwright, his full-length play 'Cyril and Michael' debuted in 2021, and he has written audio drama for National Gallery Singapore.

He is thrilled to be making his London debut with 'Pretty Ugly' at the CPT, and is looking forward with journeying with this show towards the Edinburgh fringe, and to making more theatre in the UK.
