Maria Who? is an international theatre company presenting their first project, 'Miss Brexit'. The production began as a venture within an educational setting at UWL. Co-directors Alejandro Postigo & Amaia Mugica initiated this project due to a shared interest in cultural inclusivity & accessibility within theatre in the UK. The project facilitated an environment for international students to share & reflect upon their lived experiences as migrant artists. We are driven by an urge to voice unheard migrant stories & to open spaces for social change. Through this project, we aim to open discussion on the consequences & impact of Brexit for young migrant theatre-makers.
