Ellie Higgins is a Scottish, feminist, experimental theatre maker. With a love for devised theatre and clowning, she creates absurd, playful performances which aim to foster meaningful connections with the audience. Her work often plays between physical and digital realms, drawing from the mediatised elements of everyday life. Previous performances include the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (2018, 2023, 2024) and FemFest Brighton (2021, 2023).
Ellie is co-founder of The Norm Project, an interdisciplinary collective who create immersive installations, performances and workshops. They have worked with CityMoves Dance Agency, The Scottish Storytelling Centre and Gallery 395.
