Elastic Fantastic are an emerging multimedia performance ensemble making dynamic queer storytelling for an embattled generation. The company was created in Edinburgh in 2023 by an ensemble of Queer and Allied Storytellers to develop a multidisciplinary platform for resilient, defiant, and rebellious LGBTQ+ voices. Utilising multiple formats of media, the team aim to develop work across theatre, film, music, and sound (often all at once) that elevates unheard queer narratives. Their 2024 debut 'Deeptime Atomic Waste Pleasure Party' was performed at Edinburgh, Dundee and Prague Fringe Festivals, and they are now touring 'Shallowspace' Europe-wide.
