    It’s crunch time for Amanda Royce, tonight she’s launching a mayoral campaign in her hometown of Coulsdon, she vows to tackle unemployment, obesity, loneliness and all those bloody potholes.

    Blending character comedy with sharp social observation, the show tracks her escalating promises and mounting pressures, asking whether this is the birth of a movement or the unravelling of a dream.

    It’s a bold, brash character comedy show from the fag end of political discourse, a hotly comic ride through failure, stark truths, hot flushes and a smattering of revolution.
