Part comedy show part jukebox musical, Walk a Mile in these Mary Janes is Nawel’s first solo endeavour, reflecting on a decade in London chasing dreams, finding community in drag bars and sacrificing stability for creative expression.
Featuring songs from every corner of the gay music spectrum, this show is a safe space for people who are so traumatised by London they idolise Margate, for people desperately trying to work on their art when they come home from work, and for people who simply enjoy hearing a slightly sadder rendition of Good Luck Babe by Chappell Roan.

"Our children live in the most deprived ward in London and their parents cannot afford to pay for the classes and activities many more privileged children enjoy after school and at the weekends. A free-to-access youth group run by a local theatre in a professional setting is an incredible opportunity."
