‘It’s the familiarity of herself, somehow, that she sees reflected in his eyes.’

This perplexing and seductive one-woman show follows a girl's quest for self-discovery inside the myths she creates. It contemplates how even momentary encounters can seem like the most important plot lines in the stories of ourselves.

Cesca Echlin’s debut play for emerging theatre company That What’s Wild explores the allure of fantasy over reality. Can we separate the two? Should we even try when our fantasies are so much more exciting?

Tobi King Bakare and this theatre deserve a shout-out for such a young, diverse audience.
