Taking its title from James Carville (who successfully framed Bill Clinton's election in 1992 around the recession), IT'S THE ECONOMY, STUPID! combines poetic storytelling, wry humour and a dash of performance art! Armed with a Monopoly board, a live-feed camera, and a small mountain of salt, Joe and Dylan mine their own financial and economic (il)literacy, to calculate how their lives have been shaped by the economies they grew up in.
Produced by Worklight Theatre, and directed by internationally acclaimed Katharina Reinthaller, IT’S THE ECONOMY STUPID! is a brand new work-in-progress from the Fringe First winning creators of LABELS and FANBOY.
