    Drawing on the Bottle

    Thurs 17th - Saturday 19th April 7:15pm
    Tickets £12 - £18 (+ booking fee)
    ARCHIVE
Live projected drawing, music, comedy and pathos about the seduction of alcohol; the reality of ethanol. A unique performance about a toxic life partner and ways to step away.

The live drawing show is a unique, novel, experience that feels like a stand up show alongside a film being created in front of your eyes.

The drawings unfurl as ideas on drink and stories about it are intimately presented.

A substance that feeds the social and economic life of Camden but also destroys the health of 28% of its citizens. I was one of them. Started out as a party girl and ended up as a lonely solo drinker in my flat opposite the Forum.

A live interactive show using drawing, comedy, pathos and music to explore the attraction and then bad marriage to ethanol.
Personal stories about addiction, routes to get out of its hold and an exploration of why, once left, the attraction to alcohol fades. We can get untoxic together.

"Our children live in the most deprived ward in London and their parents cannot afford to pay for the classes and activities many more privileged children enjoy after school and at the weekends. A free-to-access youth group run by a local theatre in a professional setting is an incredible opportunity."
