The show follows the lives of forgotten star Dorothy Dandridge, the first African-American nominated for an Oscar in a leading role in 1955; and Lola, a young mixed-race actress today, who finds out just how far she’ll go to make it big.
Expect laughs, belting vocals and brutal truths. Inspired by Dorothy Dandridge’s own words and modern experiences.
