    Join us for a day of creative events as part of South Asian Heritage Month!

    Embroidery Workshop (11:30am - 2:30pm)

    A relaxing cross-stitch basics workshop inspired by the Bangladeshi nakshi kantha - a handmade blanket often given as gifts on important milestones among the Bangladeshi community. We will work on separate pieces of fabric and bring these together to create a heritage quilt that signifies the community of the area.

    Kid Friendly Collage Workshop (4:00pm - 6:00pm)

    With Rajvi Bhogaita - graphic Designer, illustrator and digital artist.

    No need to book, you can drop in at any time during the session! 


    Storytelling workshop with Daedalus Theatre (4:30pm - 6:30pm)

    This workshop forms part of East to Elsewhere, a new storytelling project exploring kindness from a migrant perspective in a time marked by rising racism, fascism, antisemitism, Islamophobia, and anti-migrant rhetoric in both public discourse and everyday life.
