Join the East storytellers and musicians for an evening of true and tall tales from the East End and beyond.

Join the East storytellers and musicians for an evening of true and tall tales about kindness, migration and belonging. A warm, welcoming event full of music, laughter and voices from the East End and beyond.

East to Elsewhere brings together storytellers, musicians and local residents to share stories of migration, belonging and kindness and showcase the solidarity that has always defined our capital city. Line up includes internationally renowned storytellers Sef Townsend and Shamim Azad.

There will also be an opportunity for you to share your own stories on themes of kindness, migration and belonging at the open mic.

Ninety years after the Battle of Cable Street, our communities continue to stand up to hate with creativity and connection. This show is brought to you by the East Storytelling Project which celebrates living history and communities that have always shown kindness to migrants, refugees and asylum seekers, built through shared voices.

    Supported by Arts Council England.
