    BLAXIT MEANS BLAXIT (WIP)

    Tickets £10 (+ booking fee)
Black, British and fed up with your life in the UK? Choose BLAXIT

Angry and alienated, Simona longs to escape the life she has known. Radiant and revitalised, Blaxit influencers Carmen and Elijah encourage Black Brits to return to the lands their ancestors left not so long ago. Enticed by their promise of paradise Simona packs up her life in the UK in the search for a safe place to call home. Will a new generation be able to complete the search for a better life, generations before them fought for in the UK or can some things just not be escaped?
Blaxit Means Blaxit is an award-winning play (Mustapha Matura Award 2025) by Thea Melton exploring themes of belonging, displacement, acceptance and disconnection.
