Thea Melton is a multidisciplinary artist and award winning writer based in London. She trained at Mountview in MA Acting and studied Human Social and Political Science at The University of Cambridge. Thea is passionate about developing and working on artistic projects that explore socio-political concepts and experiences in experimental, expansive and empathetic ways. As someone from Caribbean heritage it is particularly important for her to develop artistic work that disrupts the status quo on what Black Caribbean stories look like and how they are presented. She won the Mustapha Matura Award 2025 for her play Blaxit Means Blaxit and her play Is This Organic? featured on the Theatre Blacklist 2025.
