    Founder of Empower Poetry CIC

    A Birmingham-based spoken word artist and performer with a strong national presence, Ryan has worked with Arts Council England, BBC Words First, The Southbank Centre Reframe Residency, Youth Music, Apples&Snakes , The National Literacy Trust and many more. Performance highlights include Boxpark Wembley, Da Poetry Lounge Los Angeles, and the Birmingham 2022 Festival. Ryan has delivered workshops across schools in the West Midlands and is passionate about creating emotionally honest, socially resonant, and artistically bold work. 

    In 2024 Ryan wrote, and co-produced his debut Theatre Play ‘Generations’ which was showcased in Birmingham’s Crescent Theatre, and Nottingham Art Centre. Aside from this, Ryan has also worked as A Producer at the Belgrade Theatre in 2022, supporting new work come to the stage. As well as running his own Poetry organisation ‘Empower Poetry CIC’
