  • Eva Lily / Eve and Sea Productions

    Eva Lily is a writer and performer. After graduating from the University of Exeter she was a member of the Royal Court's Introduction to Playwriting group and then became an associate writer of Middle Child Theatre. In 2018 she co-wrote Salmon which debuted at Politmore Festival before touring to Edinburgh Fringe Festival (2019), VAULT Festival and across venues in the South West (Feb 2020). Her play @LeahRoberts was runner up in the Finborough ETPEP award in 2022 and in 2023 she performed her solo play I've Got Some Things To Get Off My Chest in London, Manchester and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it received 4*s. She's also participated in the Omnibus Theatre's artist development programme 'Engine Room' and is a Young Creative for Creative Youth Charity and has had plays performed at the White Bear Theatre, The Drayton Arms and Waterloo East Theatre.

    Tobi King Bakare and this theatre deserve a shout-out for such a young, diverse audience. There is so much talk about audiences being full of over 60s and why, why can’t theatres get the crowds in to reflect society in general? Well, I’m happy to say that on a rainy Thursday evening, the theatre was completely full.
