FRESH Fest offers a ground-breaking showcase of new theatre from Middlesex University! It is a celebration tour that culminates at Camden People's Theatre with our cast of over 35 students!

Join us for four exhilarating stories including; Checkmate, a murder mystery featuring familiar characters from Carroll's Alice in Wonderland; ENCODE, a Butoh fuelled exploration that asks are humans able to enter the word of Artificial Intelligence; Missing Lane Markers on the A47, new writing that centres on the peculiarities of country life and the experience of being an outsider; and Unforgotten Wrongs, a challenging study on the injustices of history.

We are excited to see you there, helping us to celebrate our students who have worked tirelessly over the past three years, developing their practice to become theatre makers in their own right!

Middlesex University Theatre Arts department recognises that to navigate our creative industries, our students must be able to manifest productions and develop skills to become successful freelance artists.

FRESH Fest celebrates the end of one chapter and the start of a very exciting new journey!

“Keep up the good work producing cutting-edge theatre for everyone in London”

Councillor Jonathan Simpson, 29 January 2018
