“Not until we are lost do we begin to understand ourselves.” - Henry David Thoreau

There were 333,000 items found on the TfL network in 2018/19, including 300 bags and over 150 mobile phones left behind every day. About 66% of lost objects are never claimed or reunited with their owners. In the closed office of the Baker Street Lost and Found, Tom sits surrounded by items that have fallen through the cracks of the world. Red label if it was found in a taxi, a white one if it was left on a bus or a yellow one if it ended up on a train or at a station. But then there are the ones that seem to have come from elsewhere. Since you join Tom during his break, you might as well hear some of their stories.

Tales of lost manuscripts, missing limbs and unexplained relics. Plus a 12-foot-tall Spider-Man, which is currently blocking the access to the kitchen. Keep your eyes peeled for the ghosts that walk the stacks, souls left to forever ride the rails.

"I've seen hundreds of stage shows, and this Circus is truly unique. I was wildly curious from the start about where the show would venture, and my expectations were proved wrong over and over again. Thomas Jancis makes a strong and compelling storyteller "
Sage Tyrtle- professional storyteller & Moth StorySLAM winner

“British theatre would be completely stymied without tiny, under-resourced venues such as CPT, which are a critical part of the theatre ecology.”
