Picture this: You’re stranded on a boat with a group of strangers you don’t like. You’re hungry. You are tired. Foods running low. Madness takes its toll. You miss your mum. You need a shit. And is that fish really talking?

Come and watch what happens when all these factors come into play in our absurdist comedy.

Produced, devised and designed as a company of four, Mare Productions’ debut performance ‘Wrak’ explores the fragmented story of four characters stranded on a boat, trying to get along on their last days alive.

Including themes of unity, morality and companionship, Mare Productions presents ‘Wrak’.

Tobi King Bakare and this theatre deserve a shout-out for such a young, diverse audience. There is so much talk about audiences being full of over 60s and why, why can’t theatres get the crowds in to reflect society in general? Well, I’m happy to say that on a rainy Thursday evening, the theatre was completely full.
