Wicked Annabella is a witch who lives in the woods, wants to eat your children and is a massive sex pest. Or perhaps she’s just an independent home-owner living off the grid?

Wicked Annabella is a witch who lives in the woods and wants to eat your children. Or perhaps she’s just an independent home-owner living off the grid?

Galvanised by generations of songs about women, written into existence by men, this project brings these fabled characters to life and shares the alternative stories they might tell if given the mic.

Wicked funny and wicked smart, this bedroom-rave of a show weaves together non fiction, fan fiction and wild conjecture.

From Eleanor Rigby and Roxanne to Stacey’s mum, Wicked Annabella is a 60 minute reclaiming and celebration of pop culture for anyone who spent their teens in HMV.

Come for a giggle, stay for the raging feminist agenda.

"Hilarious, charming, intelligent, casual yet very polished performance lecture. The audience hung on her every word and she brought the room together in nostalgia, feminism and wit. I am honoured to have had her a part of our festival. "
