    A heartfelt and hilarious play adapted and performed by Sarah Malin, from Sophie Herxheimer's award - winning book. Directed by Lucy Richardson, designed by Herxheimer, with original music composed and performed by Nico Brown.

    It's 1938 and Liesl has fled Nazi Germany. With her sideboard, suitcase and sewing machine, she embarks on becoming an 'ortinerry Inklisch hausvyfe' in North London. A humorous, musical and topical new play adapted from Sophie Herxheimer's Sunday Times Poetry Book of The Year. Familiar presence on stage and screen, Sarah Malin inhabits and performs this resonant tale of exile and home.
