‘...And that island is gone and I’m drowning, out at sea.’
Charlie joins a clinical trial for a brain-computer interface to cure his depression. He meets Felix, a man of many faces. He confuses him? Enlightens him? He cannot decide.
As the device gradually relieves Charlie’s symptoms, he grows more uncertain—compelled to confront the deeper causes of his unhappiness. But if the device is working perfectly, then nothing’s wrong... right? Nothing.
This sci-fi-esque drama is inspired by the latest psychological research and Elon Musk-level tech. The Good Device asks a critical question: How do we measure worth? Through what? By what? And ultimately for whom.
