Ella becomes caught between 2 worlds when she begins to play The Fight Well Project, a hyper-realistic video game with sky-high stakes.

Get 25% off when you book more than one show across our Autumn Season (September - December 2024).

Inspired by the testimony of many black women, the story follows Ella as she embarks on a quest to be well when she starts playing The Fight Well Project, a hyper-realistic video game which might just be the demo version she needs to defeat the real world. Can she make it to the final Boss?

With atmospheric sound design and sharp visuals and first developed through Camden People's Theatre seed commission scheme, this work in progress show explores just what it will take for black women to be believed when it comes to our bodies.

Supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
