  • Charlie Wood presents

    The Devil’s Eyelash (WIP)

    Wed 18th March at 20:15
    Tickets £10 (+ booking fee)
A work in progress staging of The Devil's Eyelash. A high-octane queer apocalypse play combining storytelling, live scoring, cosmic nuns and surrealist myth. A comedy/tragedy, anti-Adam and Eve epic poem.

A work in progress for now, this is the first full length play from star of THWACK! and Miss Ellaneous, Charlie Wood and will feature some of the most exciting talent from the performance underworld of London and live musical underscoring. A story telling show that will have you laughing, crying, being sick and changing religions. Four cosmic nuns weave an epic poem of an apocalyptic future. A leather Daddy and a Dominatrix travel across the wasteland to have a final drink at the last queer bar in the universe before the end of the world. An anti-Adam and Eve on a hopeless odyssey taken to the mad maximum. The Devil’s Eyelash is a destruction myth of cartoon violence, queer rage, joy, sin, cannibals and the descending hand of doom. A high-octane dreamscape that asks what queerness means at the very end of everything.
