Swana Night Live is a bold, camp and celebratory variety cabaret show centring SWANA voices and experiences. Performers devise their own original acts, drawing on personal stories of cultural prejudice, the Western gaze, and the many forms of “Orientalism” our communities have navigated and resisted. Blending drag, music, theatre, dance, and experimental performance, Swana Night Live weaves individual acts into a shared narrative framework.
Following last year’s sold-out show "Dolmuş Mini Bus" at Camden People's Theatre, Harem of No One Collective teams up once again to bring a spectacular cabaret showcase of SWANA voices.
