This autumn, we celebrate the second anniversary of Single Parent’s Comedy with our second ever live show!

In 2020, in the midst of lockdown, Single Parent’s Comedy and Gingerbread came together to run the first ever Stand Up For Single Parents comedy show. The online event was a huge success and led to a series of more online shows, bringing in hundreds of viewers from across the world, and raising money for Gingerbread.

This autumn, we celebrate the 2nd anniversary of Single Parents Comedy with our second ever live show! Taking place in Camden, the borough that Gingerbread has been based in for at least 50 years, this show promises to be a celebration of Single Parents.

The show is hosted by Thea Jaffe, a Gingerbread volunteer and a single mother to her young son and daughter. Known as the "Dirty Momtini", Thea has made a name for herself in the stand up comedy world since the beginning of lockdown, appearing last summer at the Edinburgh Fringe with the group "Insanitised". In September 2020 she founded Single Parents Comedy and started the Stand Up for Single Parents events, bringing in comedians she met at open mic nights.

For this very special event we have an all-star line up of Single Parent comedians:

    Mike Coxon
    Michael Evans
    Maz Alexander
    Matthew Alford
    Saleha Masud
    Headlined by Nathan Cassidy
