Spoken word by artist Russeni Fisher. About the story of two friends on a night out in London.

“The drinks have truly settled in the system, best friend leaves like the music faded. Waved goodbye, can’t wait for us to do it again! Go on a bender until we is numb in the head and wobble at the knees. Started with pre drinks, cab drinking and then we’re in the club yet again drowning our throats.”

Sorry Fi Disturb Yuh tells the story of two friends on a night out in London, with spoken word poetry at the forefront of the dialogue. As their night unfolds, we see flashes of homelessness, crime and other facts of life spill into what should be a mundane night out. The show explores the themes of depression, grief and masculinity, but at its heart, it’s a story of friendship and brotherhood.

"Our children live in the most deprived ward in London and their parents cannot afford to pay for the classes and activities many more privileged children enjoy after school and at the weekends. A free-to-access youth group run by a local theatre in a professional setting is an incredible opportunity."
