Sweet Testament Divine by Radclyffe Baker

Sweet Testament Divine tells a riveting story based on real documents of clinical trials in the 1930s. The files illustrate one of the earliest forms of testosterone in the UK, which was made using bulls’ testicles and young men’s urine. Whilst LGBTQ+ history can often lack documentation, this play allows for storytelling in the margins of the textbooks. Here, you'll find a playful twist on documented fact and imagined fiction, intercepted by complicated emotional relationships both between characters and the battle of the self.

Joan Little, a secretary and typist, makes a risky move. How will it affect the people Joan loves?

    Audience feedback:

    "Enjoyable and thought-provoking."
    "It’s brilliant!"

    Run time: 30 mins

Content warning: The play contains instances of interactions between characters who say insensitive and ignorant things. These are not extended moments, and nothing graphic is depicted.

The Camden Queers by Mariana Feijó

'Intrigue, secret spy rings, political necessity, burgeoning celebrity culture, and nascent feminism’ are the best tasting ingredients for a tour of some lesser known historical figures who came through Camden.

You've heard of Virginia Woolf, Oscar Wilde and the Bloomsbury Group, but does Chevalier D'Eon ring a bell? The Camden Queers will take you on a whirlwind tour of personalities, not places, who might be knew to you!

Let's start taking bets! How many new people can you get to know in 20 minutes?

    Running time: 20 mins
