Pocket Revolution is a darkly comic one-woman play about survival, guilt, and the stories we invent when reality becomes impossible to face.
Sitting in a police interrogation room after running someone over, Lucy tries to explain what happened – though she is not sure if it was an accident, if the man is dead, or if her version of events is even true.
As the questioning unfolds in real time, fantasies of innocence and success begin to crack, exposing workplace exploitation, financial pressure, migration, shame, and loneliness. What starts as a frantic explanation slowly turns into a confession from a woman losing control of her own narrative.

"Our children live in the most deprived ward in London and their parents cannot afford to pay for the classes and activities many more privileged children enjoy after school and at the weekends. A free-to-access youth group run by a local theatre in a professional setting is an incredible opportunity."
