    Using a language mixed of visual art, words and movement, Paper People Theatre present to you their world full of chalk and the conflict this brings between it's performers.

    Post-truth [adjective] relating to a situation in which people are more likely to accept an argument based on their emotions and beliefs, rather than one based on facts: The referendum was the first major vote in the era of post-truth politics. He dubs the current administration a "post-truth White House.“ Cambridge Dictionary Have you ever been absolutely sure of something? Have you looked at a situation or made a decision and been" 100%" completely, totally and undeniably sure of what you"€™re doing?"  Are you certain that you can be sure of anything? In this space, there are 4 of us, on stage, performing for you, the audience. The space we occupy is black, lit by stage lights so that you can see us. And we can see you too. This you can be sure of. Dive into our world where 4 performers try to make sense of what it means to live in a Post-truth, alternative fact world. Ouroboros uses a language mixed of visuals, movement, sparing words and sign to offer a battle of emotions vs facts reflecting the current political climate. 14+

    Tobi King Bakare and this theatre deserve a shout-out for such a young, diverse audience. There is so much talk about audiences being full of over 60s and why, why can’t theatres get the crowds in to reflect society in general? Well, I’m happy to say that on a rainy Thursday evening, the theatre was completely full.
