Inspired by conversations with CPT’s local communities, no future is a multi-dimensional project that bridges film, theatre and installation. It is about vision, restoring order, and the past coming to meet you.

Adam cannot visualise the future. All he sees in front of him is the past.

After returning home to find his flat ransacked, the scene of the crime becomes a scene of visiting ghosts. He finds a series of clues that tell him who he is.

While London keeps on building, his hometown in the North East is being quietly demolished. Having never felt this far away from home, he abandons the world of the present to investigate what might have been.

Inspired by conversations with CPT’s local communities, No Future is a multi-dimensional project that bridges film, theatre and installation. It is about vision, restoring order, and the past coming to meet you.

Watch the live-streamed performance from the safety of your own home, and attend an installation that may or may not happen. (Everything can be experienced at home)

Commissioned as part of Camden People's Theatre Outside the Box Season, generously funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation. No Future is also funded by Arts Council England.
