My Screaming Pomegranates is a darkly comic one-woman show combining mask work, stand-up, Commedia dell’Arte and clown-inspired performance.
Artemis dreams of building a kingdom for women. Minthe wants love. Persephone wants to change the world. Through ridiculous gods, physical comedy and spectacular failures, their friendship is tested by ambition, romance and adulthood.
Performed by a Greek actor and created by an international team from Greece, China and beyond, this playful retelling of Persephone returns after its Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut.
