From the beginning of creation to the collapse of civilisation, Metamorphoses is a journey through the highs and lows of the history of the world. Expect gods, humans, animals and monsters as we bring to life the ancient myths of Ovid’s Metamorphoses, reimagined for our times by three leading contemporary playwrights, and re-imagined again by a daring company of actors and creatives!
With an original text by Sami Ibrahimi, Laura Lomas and Sabrina Mahfouz, our company has further devised the production to bring you our own rendition of Ovid’s eclectic collection of myths, informed by the often fraught, chaotic, absurd and beautiful times that we live in now. We bring you joy and greed, love and loss, creation and destruction. We bring you music, dancing, drama and pettiness, sometimes all at the same time.
